It’s been quite a while since I’ve written anything although I have been busy! I should say busy good and busy not so good ~ Between getting a lower lumbar MRI and cervical x-rays paired with physical therapy appointments and a trip to the Rheumatologist you can guess that I have some pain going on…. on the other hand I’ve been working on a crafty assignment and that is always fun
AND we have been doing some home renovations (I use the word WE very liberally as with my back issues I am rendered pretty useless – I mean we are talking sheet rock here!!) We are on the last stage of this project with the hardwood floors being sanded and polyurethaned, Phew…. almost over. The kitties get to come home Friday when all the fumes should be gone and the new furniture will be delivered that day at noon. I can’t wait and will have to post photos.
For those of you who have emailed, I will be posting a tutorial on making the glass pendants. Believe me… these are a breeze and so much prettier then the photos I took of them.
Today I would like to share two projects I made a little while ago. You will notice that the little “room” book has no photos in it as my daughter would not allow me to post any of her from our trip to Disney world. It was a few years ago and she was in her “awkward” phase. I love the way this looks like a little 4 inch mini book but opens to expose 4 individual spaces. Neat!
I used the Creative Memories Disney Vacation Palette (One of my all time favorite paper sets!)
With hope I’ll have something new for you soon
And a gallon sized pain can- I love using these to give gifts in
I loved making the ears for the top!

Clarissa, I can totally feel your back pain-I have had 2 back surgeries in the past 2 years! I hope the therapy helps! I love your DIsney goodies! TOTALLY adorable! I look forward to getting to know you better on the CM team!
Hi Clarissa!
I’m so honored you stopped by my blog and shop… I WORSHIP YOU!!! Haha.. your stuff is amazing and I am always so excited when you update.
Sorry to hear about your back troubles. I am only 23 and I have terrible back issues. I went for an MRI on my upper back last year and they found nothing (Which is good but frustrating) so it’s probably stress/needing to exercise more!
I really hope things improve for you, I remember when I was stuck in bed for a month and thinking about how I’d rather do anything but that so please get well!
Your Disney album/box is incredible!
Clarissa, I hope you feel better quickly. My husband has back problems and I know how hard the pain is on him. (((hugs)))
As for you projects….LOVE them! That “room” book is just the absolute coolest thing!!
Hi Clarissa, sorry to hear about your back problem. My FIL has the same issue and he’s going through physical therapy as well. I hope and pray for your speedy recovery.
BTW, your projects are marvelous…looove it!
Love all the great ideas you share. That’s one thing I love about the stamping/scrapping community is that people love to share.
Do you mind posting a template on the Disney “room” album? I’ve never seen that before and would like to try one to give as a gift. I fear that if I try without directions I’ll be wasting paper – and all scrappers can relate to not wasting yummy paper! =) Thanks for sharing!

[...] September 16, 2009 by paperhostess I just LOVE this new Jumbo Circle Maker from CM!! I was able to make this circular quadrant book base in a snap!! I’m not sure what I’ll be doing with it so I haven’t embellished it yet- I love the way they fold up so neatly only to open into multiple little rooms. Just like in this post [...]
