I’ve had this K&Company paper for quite a while and just love it. It’s the Baily line and I thought this would be wonderful for making a mother’s day project. The photo is my mother when she was young and inside the cascading album I will put in other photo’s from her childhood. (she was such a cutie back then….not that she’s not today 😉
I used the AccuCut lunch box die for the tin- I used the Provocraft Lunch Box standard sized tin. The flowers were made with AccuCut Flowers #16 and I used a medium weight coaster instead of chipboard. (I covered the front only with patterned paper) I love the way the paper grips around the corners of the flowers when cut with the AccuCut- nice and clean. I layered 2 of the die cut flowers and added a 3d K&C embellishment in the center. (perfect fit!) For the tag album I simply covered my chipboard with patterned paper and cut out at 4″, 5″, and 6 1/4″. I couldn’t resist adding a little floral punched edge to coordinate with the tag on the tin which was also cut with the AccuCut tag die only I cut down the sides to better fit the size of the lunch box. This was fun and I hope my Mom enjoys it 🙂 She’s already received the chocolates I ordered (man they ship too fast!) and I KNOW she enjoyed those!
